Love What We Do? Here’s How You Can Support:

Your impact

En2action's mission is to engage, empower, and inspire action to promote equitable growth, build resilient communities, and achieve transformative social good.

Your contribution allows us to continue working with community members, small-business owners, and partner organizations to deliver thoughtful, impactful programming and services to our City’s Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) communities. Through programs like Sell Black, Ujamaa Kitchen, and the Black Cultural Preservation Mini-Grants Program, en2action continues to work to serve the BIPOC communities and BIPOC businesses of San Francisco.

At En2action, we believe that the core of our organization is the people that make our work so impactful: our program participants, community and City partners, staff, and supporters like you! Whether you’ve donated to us in the past, attended one of our events, or just love our mission and what we do, we are incredibly grateful for your support.

In honor of the 7th annual Bayview Uncorked, a celebration of En2actions work over the past year, we ask that you give $7 today so En2action can continue to bring programmatic opportunities and business support to the BIPOC communities of San Francisco.

Why Your support matters:

Since our inception, we’ve worked with numerous businesses and community partners, providing thoughtful services and programming in neighborhoods like the Fillmore, Bayview Hunters-Point, and the Excelsior. When COVID-19 forced the City into lockdown and our Black and Brown neighbors and Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC)-led businesses were the hardest hit by the pandemic, En2action stepped up and shifted our programs like Bayview Bistro to safely empower our Bistro vendors with access to a commercial kitchen space and economic opportunities through the SF New Deal and Bayview Bistro Boxes.

From our staff to those who we are blessed to work with and our supporters, the core of our organization is the community that we are continuously working to build. It is my hope that with your support, En2action will continue to cultivate transformative, resilient communities, where every individual is empowered to thrive. Can I count you in?

Sincerely,

Andrea Baker, Executive Director

YOUR IMPACT: MEET Roman rodgers

Roman “Rome” Rodgers is the owner of Rome’s Kitchen, a delicious Italian-Soul Food fusion catering business. Rome hails proudly from Bayview-Hunters Point, and was one of our first Bayview Bistro vendors. When En2action shifted the Bayview Bistro from an urban food hub to the Bayview Bistro box and participation in the SF New Deal program during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Rome stepped up to provide amazing, love-infused meals to the weekly food box customers, as well as seniors in the community.

With your support, En2action can continue to support folks like Rome through providing on-going mentorship, access to a commercial kitchen space, and empowering vendors with catering, pop-up, and other wealth building opportunities.
